The Guatemala Health Passes allow travelers to enjoy the benefits and services of the country's excellent medical aid system for a whole year. The pass allows for safe and quick travel to Guatemala as well as other nearby countries. The unique feature of the pass is that it provides free entrance into the three Central American Countries along with Mexico. This protects travelers from being infected while they travel. Guatemala is a beautiful country to visit for travelers to Guatemala. It is a destination that has a warm and friendly vibe that makes visitors feel at home. There are a variety of activities and tours that can be enjoyed when one heads to Guatemala. Tourists have many options, from exploring the country to experiencing the nightlife in cities like Antigua or San Miguel de Allende.

Tourists should visit the Mayan ruins in Guatemala. This is one of the most popular activities. You can choose to explore the Mayan sites chronologically or in the order they were discovered. If you plan to travel to Guatemala, you should know that you will need to show your vaccination certificate before entering the country. There are numerous medical facilities in Guatemala that cater to travellers who may be in need of urgent medical attention. These medical facilities offer quality services at very affordable rates.

Before traveling to Guatemala, it is important to note that you need to be vaccinated against contagious diseases. Two diseases that you need to avoid are Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B. Guatemala has its own tourism board that enforce strictly the requirement to acquire PCR test before travelling to the country. There are no exceptions to the rule. Travellers who do not have PCR positive results when arriving in Guatemala will have to pay a hefty fine.

PCR testing is carried out using two methods. The first method requires a blood sample to be drawn from a healthy donor. The HIV test is conducted using a DNA probe to generate a false negative result. All travelers who have been vaccinated must get a copy of the HIV test at their local clinic within 48 hours.

Guatemala Health Passes benefits travellers with unlimited access to health care and medical services for the first ten days and then the validity of the pass expires. The duration of validity is valid for 14 days after the travellers initial entry into the country. This pass is not available to travelers from Guatemala. A PVR must be obtained from the Ministry of Health by anyone who is traveling to Guatemala to provide care for an injured or ill person. A PVR is an electronic card which is electronically printed with information about the identity, contact details, and other relevant information for the person being looked after.
